Modeling
Jacqueline Michelle’s journey into the world of modeling began unexpectedly at the age of 12 while waiting in line at a grocery store. A kind woman approached her mother and commented on Jacqueline’s potential—unbeknownst to Jacqueline, she was an executive at Chadwick Model Management. That chance encounter marked the beginning of a path that would eventually take her from Sydney to Los Angeles and around the world.
After several years of test shoots, “go sees,” and learning the art of the runway, Jacqueline booked her first major job at age 15: a six-page editorial in Dolly magazine. Throughout high school, she balanced her studies with a blossoming modeling career, appearing in publications such as Dolly, Girlfriend, Marie Claire, Cleo, and Vogue. She walked the runway at Australian Fashion Week in both Sydney and Melbourne, starred in national commercials, and landed a small role on the television series Breakers.
Jacqueline remains deeply grateful to Helene from Chadwick’s for discovering her and to Steve Chamberlin, who saw her photo on the agency wall and encouraged her to take a leap and move to Los Angeles—an act that would shape the next chapter of her creative life.
